Situated in the heart of Shorditch, this period 1883 warehouse was refurbished over twenty years ago. It was built on a medieval (good luck),well, and is next to Shakespeare’s first theatre. The building’s walls are three foot thick in some places, and most of the architectural features have been retained. Over the years the building has hosted exhibitions and functions of all sorts, including the exhibition for Shorditch’s new railway station, which originally was to have been completed in 1997!
